my long weekend stay at a hotel in Braunschweig was fantastic! The big room with lots of daylight exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable, and having a kitchenette was a bonus. The friendly staff and delicious breakfast made it even better. Definitely my go-to hotel for future visits to Central Germany.
Wifi connection was poor.

Location between the city center and roads to exit the town, close to a parking place. The breakfast was good though.
Lift is too slow, Staff does not necessarily tells about Internet connection.(client has to ask)

Recommended by local friend. Very good for what we needed. Able to walk to town centre. Too far from station to walk though.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. First of all, the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable for what was offered. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a kitchenette wider and cleaner than my own apartment. Lastly, the location was ideal. Being annexed to a shopping mall with a supermarket open until 22:00 and within a relatively short distance from the inner city of Braunschweig was very convenient.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

Good variety of food at breakfast. Interesting neighborhood with good variety of restaurants
No fresh fruit at breakfast despite no smoking signs everywhere, whole building smelled of cigarette smoke often had difficulty finding a parking within 200 meters

Reasonably priced apartment hotel. No frills, but is OK.
Rain water dripping on the metal window still and curtains were too thin to cut down the morning light. Carpets a bit dirty as well.

We stayed at a bright, clean and modern hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Our spacious room was equipped with good facilities, crisp and clean bedding, and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed a good continental breakfast and parking nearby at a small fee. This hotel is a great option for short stay in a convenient location close to the town centre with all the necessary facilities.
Nothings.

The breakfast was quite good.
The carpet was dirty. There is no parking place on the street. There was no air condition and under the hotel is some noise source working the whole night. And for 90€ per night - there is many better hotels for a better price.

The location of hotel with a very nearby supermarket.
This is a apartment hotel with a 50-60 euro room rate. However increased 6 times since there was a faire in Hannover.

The room was perfect. I appreciated that there was totally everything in the room, even for cooking. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious just like a lecture hall. The bathroom was large and clean, with a nice shower that had no moldy corners. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the center and the shopping mall.
There was nowhere to park temporarily to offload your luggage. The spaces on the street were always taken, and the spaces beside the building were marked private.

I did not like anything about Celler Tor.
The room was dirty, extremely hot and the staff was unfriendly. We were three adults traveling together and the third bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom had a terrible smell of poop and the common parts were smelling cigarettes. The place was so dirty that we did not have the courage to eat our breakfast there. Moreover the room cost 159 euros!!! The worst traveling experience of my live!!!

It was very good value for money, with a kitchenette so that light meals could be prepared. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean - what more could you want. There was a good quality supermarket just around the corner on the main rd and a few bars and snack places. We arrived at about 11 pm and although there were no reception staff at that time, they had left our key and a welcome note in a locker for us to collect (Booked.net called us with the code). It was a bonus to get breakfast included for the price - it was a basic but nicely done continental style offering.
The building felt more like serviced apartments than a hotel. The building is big and clean but the smell from smokers seemed to creep in from outside in the communal areas. The place was clean but the carpets were a bit stained. The building might have felt a bit big and impersonal for a woman travelling alone. There wasn't much parking to be had - we had to drive around for ages to fund a spot. If you are only visiting the town for a day or two you might spend a bit more and get a place that's more central - ideal for us as a base to visit family but perhaps too far out for holiday makers.
